Rachael began her formal training at the Rhode Island School of Design, where she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design. She moved to California to attend the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-ARC) and completed her Masters in Architecture in 1991. It was during her studies at SCI-ARC that Rachael first met John Souza, founder of greenscreen®.
Rachael worked in the Los Angeles area for several architectural offices. After 10 years pursuing the rat race shopping mall track, she found herself singing ‘how did I get here?’ (Once in a Lifetime from the Talking Heads). So began the search off the beaten trail, and she found the family-owned business community at greenscreen® to her liking in 2002. She is so comfortable, that one day she mistakenly wore her slippers to work. Rachael has worked at greenscreen® for 13 years, and when not working, Rachael enjoys woodworking, cooking and golf.
