Architect and Estimator with Design Experience

You need:

• Background in architecture or landscape architecture and knowledge of the construction industry.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Experience with DataCAD or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.
• An interest in environmental issues.

Draftsperson with construction document experience

We are an established, growing company with our sales office located in Mid-town Los Angeles. We work with architects, landscape architects, contractors and engineers to provide quotations and shop drawings for our innovative modular architectural trellising system for commercial and residential projects worldwide.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Able to prepare computer-generated shop drawings using DataCAD working from architectural or engineering drawings provided by clients in multiple formats.
• Ability to develop standardized detail drawings for drawing library.
• Willingness to work in a team environment while developing an understanding of our product applications and advancing responsibilities.
  

Skills Required:

• Excellent English communication skills and telephone manner.
• Able to prioritize tasks, work independently and as a team player.
• Experienced in DataCAD and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of the construction industry.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
