The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) green building certification system is unveiled..

greenscreen exhibits at its first AIA Expo in Philadelphia, PA.
2001
November
Premier Auto Group North American Headquarters, located in Irvine, CA is the first completed LEED NC certified project in the US. Designed by LPA, Inc., the PAG Headquarters features 16,241 s.f. of greenscreen trellis panels in three different applications.
2002
April
National Wildlife Federation (NWF) Headquarters announced as AIA/COTE Top Ten Award Winner. Completed in 2000 and designed by HOK, the NWF Headquarters features a southern exposure installation of greenscreen that was proven by energy modeling to be more effective at improving energy performance than fixed architectural sunscreens.

First Greenbuild held in Austin, TX.

Introduced the iconic “Stanford Trees” for the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University in collaboration of The SWA Group in Sausalito, CA.

Entering into Therapeutic Garden design, greenscreen is installed on the Terrence Cardinal Cook Health Center project.

Green Roofs for Healthy Cities (GRHC) announces the course offering of "Green Wall 101: Introduction to Systems and Design" featuring the green façade technology of greenscreen.

Working in collaboration with McCall Design Group and Rana Creek Living Architecture, greenscreen trellis panels are installed on the West Elm flagship store in Emeryville, CA.

Designed by Voorsanger Architects PC in collaboration with landscape architects, Olin Partnership, greenscreen is installed at the WWII Museum in New Orleans, LA.

"Strategies for More Sustainable Exterior Solutions" is the first greenscreen online CEU course.

greenscreen completes its first Seattle Green Factor project at the First United Methodist Church, designed by Bassetti Architects and JGM Landscape Architects.

The first Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) was conducted on the U.S. Census Bureau Headquarters in Suitland, MD. The evaluation was conceived and led by greenscreen with stakeholders from GSA and Mayhan Rykiel Associates.

Project #5,000 installed at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. Installed by Valley Crest, greenscreen trellis panels are featured on the 7th floor pool deck.

greenscreen provides its first Recommended Plant List by Hardiness Zones.

greenscreen completes the MindClick SGM 360° Sustainability Scorecard™, a corporate sustainability audit that evaluates the sustainable performance of an organization’s operations, logistics, products, facilities, employees, and brand.
